Winterquartier Berlin in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg hosts a festive Christmas market: winter market huts, a cultural programme, arts and crafts, an indoor ice rink and Bavarian curling. Families and groups of friends have plenty to explore through Advent – strolling, sampling festive treats and ice skating in the middle of Berlin.
At Winterquartier Berlin, cosy market stalls fill the air with the scent of roasted almonds, sweet and savoury specialities, and festive lights everywhere you look.
Expect a varied cultural programme with fire shows, theatre, live music, raves and events for all ages.
From handmade jewellery to woodwork and unique decorations, you’ll find plenty of ideas for Advent here. Discover small and large treasures, and pick out the perfect Christmas gift for family and friends.
Our 1,000 m² indoor ice rink keeps you skating whatever the weather. Glide round the big ice surface at your own pace, or hire ice skates and penguin skating aids right on site.
Look forward to varied nights on the ice: ice disco evenings with 80s and 90s hits, plus Music-on-Ice sessions with a changing line-up of DJs.
Play a round of Bavarian curling – like curling, but without the brooms – on our covered Bavarian curling lane right in Friedrichshain. It’s an easy game to pick up, and the atmosphere makes it perfect for friends, family or a company event.

Die feierliche Eröffnung ist am 29. November 2025. Der Weihnachtsmarkt läuft in der Wintersaison von Ende November bis Februar. Genaue Öffnungszeiten und Event-Termine findest du im Programm des Winterquartiers.
Der Eintritt zum Weihnachtsmarkt selbst ist auf Spendenbasis. Für Spezialangebote wie die Eisbahn oder Eisstockschießen können Tickets oder Zeitfenster gebucht werden.
